Last week, Thanh and I finally took our honeymoon (almost two years after we were married). St. Lucia was absolutely beautiful and just the perfect escape for us at this time. It was so great to get away and literally leave all our troubles and daily responsibilities behind for a full week. We fully embraced the beach life and took many naps :)

We went zip-lining and had the best time! The views were just unbelievable and a true once in a lifetime experience. Our guide, Siimple, was hilarious and put our initial fears of flying through the rainforest at ease. That's me in the last picture soaring through the trees :)
We then went on an all day Catamaran sailing trip! The boat was perfect and brought us to three attractions: Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens where we saw local plants like the banana tree and the pink torch ginger, Sulphur Springs Mud Bath, and then finally snorkeling between the Pitons (St. Lucia's infamous mountains). We sailed back to the resort with some fresh coconuts and lots of rum...PAR-A-DISE!
Our final day of vacation was spent on the beach. We swam, paddle-boarded, wind surfed, drank, and made friends with a few locals. This trip was amazing, and we are so happy to have finally had the chance to take it!

ReplyDeleteHey Christina! We stayed at Sandals La Toc, but traveled to Sandals Grande (better beach and pool) for a couple of days.
